Concrete Demolition Planning: Selective vs Structural

Breaking concrete is easy. Removing the right concrete, in the right order, without damage — that is the job.

01Selective demolition

Removing one slab, wall or foundation while everything around it stays. Selective work is really a cutting problem first: saw-cut isolation lines separate what goes from what stays, so break-out forces never reach the structure you are keeping.

02Structural demolition

Foundations, thick slabs and structural elements need engineered thinking: cut sequencing, load behaviour as sections free up, and equipment matched to the mass. Wire sawing and controlled breaking remove large sections safely.

03Removal is half the job

Broken concrete is heavy — a single cubic metre weighs about 2.4 tonnes. Professional demolition includes breaking, loading and haul-out so the site is genuinely finished, not just broken.
