New doors, windows and entrances in poured concrete or block — what the process actually involves.
Poured concrete and block foundation walls can be cut cleanly to create door openings, window openings and full basement entrances. With track-mounted saws, the cuts are straight, plumb and ready for framing — no jackhammered edges.
The crew marks the opening, protects the work area, cuts the perimeter with water-fed saws for dust control, then removes the cut section and hauls it away. Most residential openings are completed in a single day, with the site left clean.
Openings that change the structure of your home may require permits and, in some cases, engineered drawings — especially basement entrances and enlarged windows. We work from your drawings or alongside your contractor, and lintels, frames and wells are typically installed by the follow-on trade.
